A co-founder and Managing Partner at Rally Point, John has built PR campaigns and full-spectrum marketing strategies across North and South America, Asia, and Europe. His industry experience includes financial services, technology and cryptocurrencies.
His career started in journalism, where he worked as an editor at NBC News, a producer at CNBC Asia in Singapore, and was on Maria Bartiromo’s team at CNBC HQ.

Ruth is a seasoned communications leader who has deep experience working with startups and established companies in a wide range of disciplines. As strategic counselor to C Suite executives, she has provided guidance on media, messaging and narrative development, issues management, and thought leadership. She is skilled at motivating collaborative teams, inspiring creativity and setting a high bar for excellence. After years running PR at internet giants AOL and Yahoo, she spent the last 15 years leading teams at top PR firms including MWW, Sparkpr and Clarity. She sits on the board of the Publicity Club of New York and the Theatre Development Fund. She earned her B.A. from Vassar College and a Master’s in Journalism from NYU.

Olu brings her state and federal legislature public policy, communications background to the tech public relations-driven approach to the media world. Her research-driven approach to media relations is strategic, methodic, and creative. Olu graduated from Medgar Evers College, CUNY and is based in Connecticut. She is the youngest of five siblings and she loves to paint and sing.
Lauren joins Rally Point PR with over two years of experience consulting a variety of B2B and B2C companies on their communications strategies. Lauren’s background in communications includes a broad variety of marketing and PR functions, including work across tech and lifestyle spaces. She has particularly strong experience with media/entertainment, e-commerce, and other platform-centric businesses.
Lauren traded her rural roots for the cityscape when pursuing undergrad at Emerson College in Boston, where she graduated with a degree in marketing communications. Now based in Denver, you can find Lauren exploring the beautiful mountains of Colorado in her free time, embarking on a road trip to an unfamiliar place, or hitting the slopes during the winter months.
A long-time advocate for measurement and evaluation, Andy sits on the Board of AMEC and is a regular speaker and commentator on the PR industry.

Courtney graduated with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication with minors in Leadership and Business Administration. At SRU, Courtney played field hockey. A Pennsylvania native, Courtney enjoys field hockey, drawing, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.

Breanna joins Rally Point with 5 years experience within the public relations and marketing field. Prior to joining the team, she worked with a wide selection of clients within the lifestyle sector, securing coverage in top media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and Associated Press. Breanna is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, specializing in Public Relations.
Based in the NJ area, you can find her discovering new restaurants to experience, checking out the latest K-Dramas on the market or researching the best vacation spots to explore.

Sherry Smith is a strategic communications specialist whose superpowers include data-driven storytelling, creative ideation and original content development. She has extensive experience working with B2B and B2B2C companies across an array of sectors including retail/ecommerce, digital media and enterprise SaaS, with past and present clients including Samsung, Entrupy, Bambuser, Accenture, Browzwear, Dailymotion and many others.
Ms. Smith has an undergraduate degree in fashion design from FIT and the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as a master’s degree in business communication from École Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées (ESLSCA) International Graduate School of Business in Paris, France. A member of MENSA who lives in a famously small NYC apartment, she has voracious appetites for travel and fancy shoes. While anti-oxford comma, she will give in if you outrank her.
